That is completely clear to me. The basic understanding is different. For you, it looks entirely different when you attach 3 different doors to the same carcass and then place them on top of or next to each other. For me, however, it remains the same particleboard carcass.

Search for hacks and Ikea on the internet.

Ikea dressers and Ikea countertops are turned into kitchen islands, lacquer tables are misused as 19" network cabinets, tables are sanded and redesigned, slatted frames are hung on the wall with utensils and decorations attached, shelves are turned into benches, bed bases are created from shelves and dressers, and so on.
And this is a worldwide trend.

Yes, these DIY furniture pieces are also always popular in furnishing series. But I think only the person who made it likes it. I find, for example, these Euro pallets turned into furniture absolutely terrible.

I don't like all of these Ikea hacks either, but I find some ideas quite interesting, especially if you don't have much space in your apartment/house and want to use every square meter of floor space multiple times if necessary, or if money is very tight. A typical example would be a student flat/single apartment, but also for children's rooms.

But that's not Ikea, and by the way, I don't like it either.

I gave you the tip to, for example, have a look on Pinterest. [emoji51] And I don’t like the Euro pallets either. Regarding this Decker cabinet: I would hardly get anything in there... and honestly: I think they look like something from Poco or Roller – all those series you get in furniture stores, I don’t really like. Of course, furniture stores also have elegant individual pieces. But those are then extremely overpriced. Be that as it may: to each his own [emoji2]

Completely different with solid wood?
Well, you may be right about the material (solid wood on the fronts), you have to like the surface, but otherwise it is the same modular system. The price is steep, the delivery time as well
