Yes, everywhere [emoji20]unfortunately we already had the silicone done before moving in [emoji848] Now of course it is pointless and expensive to have everything redone... we don’t even notice it anymore... [emoji33]

Yes, we also had gigantic cracks in the silicone joints. We had the largest ones repaired. Apparently, this cannot be prevented in new construction.

Same here. I also started redoing some joints. The most time-consuming part is removing and cleaning out the old stuff.

So what.... it happens. You can manage it yourself. Pure winter diligence work. Cutter knife, remove old sealant. Masking. Re-caulk. Prefer window sill rather than sanitary sealant. The former is set more elastically and adheres better, but it is also more expensive. Product recommendation: Lugato "like rubber". Karsten

In our house, there is nothing to see yet! But we have a prefabricated house on a basement, maybe that relaxes the movement?

It is that the screed settles. This can of course cause the joints to crack. You can never say exactly whether half a centimeter or one centimeter... and whether the joint can basically withstand it.
