German manufacturers are going bankrupt one after another because they cannot compete with cheap providers from abroad. So they turn the quality screw and it goes even further downhill. That is very bitter.

Our wardrobe is also from IKEA recently. After comparing with various other furniture stores, we stayed with IKEA. It was among the cheapest, very flexible, so we could assemble it the way we wanted (sliding doors, door dampers, pull-out shelves, etc.) and in terms of quality just like all the others.
Planned back and forth online, printed the final version of the parts list, handed it to my wife, sent her to IKEA, ordered it there, had it delivered. Only for the assembly service we were too stingy. Probably not next time, assembly took two days...

And Hülsta shelf 1300,- in Lübeck. IKEA 179,-. That’s a difference. I’m not picking that one. White is white. About the CDs: Besta felt baskets. Perfect for that. Straight into the valje shelf. The compartment widths and depths fit as if made for Valje. Real wood: I’m a fan. We have some real wood furniture. But we combine it with white. Because only real wood also looks a bit too eco-bio-teacher style. I used to love teak. but a whole furnishing in teak looks a bit too nautical for my taste today. And it’s gotten super expensive and hardly available in stores anymore. However, in Lübeck I still have a shop that carries something like that. Scan Möbel, in the Gleisdreieck, HL-Wesloe. Considering that there were basically no parking spaces left, it was very, very empty apart from the restaurant and bistro. So it wasn't really empty, but the crowds spread out generously so that you didn't get the feeling of being "full".

At the checkout, we didn't even have to wait for a customer in front of us. When we arrived, a self-checkout became free.

Only downside: There are no more Köttbullar in the bistro.
