Hello,
here is my first post. This has now prompted me to find a solution for the placement of the house. A 28% or 16° slope is not so dramatic if the house is positioned a bit deeper in the hillside. If the plot is retained towards the street and starts higher, then I would push the house a little forward and go deeper into the slope, and it should still fit.
The children have a nice area to play. It would be relatively easy to create a path from the garage into the house, should the possibility of an elevator be desired.
The stairs have no more than 18 steps, I have set the floor height at 320 cm, so with a 40 cm parapet it creates a 10x10x10 m cube. An interior staircase should be rather central and closer to the south side, so that an entrance area can be possible on the lower and middle floor.
Maybe I’ll still consider a floor plan with nice openings. A cube can look very nice with well-placed openings.
Best regards,
Jan
That is super super kind and helpful! Many heartfelt thanks for the effort!
Just again for me as a layman: What argues against making the west terrace at ground floor level and not digging the house so deep? The slope to be bridged to the street or are there other reasons as well? Regardless, thank you for the vivid elaboration!
