That was helpful. Thanks.
Thanks, it probably won’t stay with just this floor plan, but at the moment this is up for discussion.
Connections to the house belong better in the utility room. I have changed that too.
Have you ever thought about swapping the carport and garage?
The utility room has 2 doors and 1 window. A lot of space that is lost for technical equipment.
Maybe reconsider the front window.
Can you please explain that in more detail?
For cost reasons? Because of a downdraft hood? (The extraction should come out of the countertop)
It’s just as much a fad as the modern villa.
Either you plan it properly or leave it. What is supposed to fit in a 1.20 meter x 0.8 meter island?
Probably not a cooktop? So that the first row at the dining table can be live spectators?
Sure, there are great solutions for downdrafts... e.g. Bora. Nice gadget.
Yep.
You can leave out the pantry. What should go in there that wouldn’t also fit into a kitchen cabinet?
The kitchen is big enough, you can plan something decent and without an island the dining area also has more traffic space.
Am I missing something? Why should a child’s bathroom (for 1 child) be bigger? There’s even room for a cabinet/dresser. Even if the question sounds like I don’t want to grant my child more, if he later wants “luxury,” he is more than welcome to have it in our bathroom.
Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but for me the word BATH has something to do with bathing. Under 5 sqm with WC + shower is a guest WC to me.
Why all the corners and edges, for example in the dressing room?
You can surely straighten that out.
I find a window in the dressing room inconvenient, there a large mirror could hang instead.
Here’s a screenshot attached. (I actually wanted to post it already in post #4 oops:
The original furniture dimensions are entered here and you can see how much space remains.
Is that sufficient in your opinion?
If you plan from the start and furnish with Pax like here, then do it properly, so that no additional corners appear.
Best regards and have a nice evening
