Thank you, sensible suggestions!

KG/Einliegerwohnung -> if I understand your idea regarding the entrance/hallway correctly, I can very well visualize the situation, but I am afraid it will not be possible structurally. I need to ask.

In the bathroom, I am not quite sure: the washbasin would be placed under the light shaft/window, right? A bit inconvenient if you also want a mirrored cabinet.

EG -> we found the open kitchen and hallway quite nice, I am not sure whether we want to close it. The beam there is made of steel, it would also be somewhat tricky structurally, I think. Opposite the stairs our small library is currently planned.

OG -> I just noticed I had uploaded an old OG version: we actually moved the bedroom door to the short wall, one of the few allowed changes. However, we hadn’t considered the idea of converting the sloping ceilings into a wardrobe before, sounds very interesting! I still need to check the dimensions and think about how I might possibly fix sliding doors there (everything is drywall-planked).

You have to check. I can also imagine swapping the living room and kitchen and then leaving the horizontally planned wall. The room would feel more open without kitchen cabinets by the terrace.

Light wells are variable like the whole basement and therefore movable

The kitchen is not open. A G-shaped kitchen is not open. Everyone has to go through the quiet zone if they want to get to the fridge. This is disturbing for several people, for example in the evening or when the children have friends over.
You will always be disturbed. Children don’t stay small.

Screw an independent wooden frame in front, shelves and rods in it, sliding Pax doors on rails in front. I am a woman, and when I have ideas, things like that are doable ;)

Yes, that was one of my original questions or considerations.

Correct, but if the shower + sink (about 2 meters wide) are placed on the north wall (3.13 meters), there is no space left for a 1.5 meter double window. Moreover, it would have to be moved to the far right corner of the room, which might look a bit odd.

I have attached a kitchen design. For us, it would be open like this, or at least have a nice connection to the dining area.

You would probably prefer a floor plan like the second standard floor plan of the model house (also attached).

As soon as the kids aren’t small anymore, they’ll be working and then be too tired for friends in the evening. Problem solved.

Sure, in principle everything is possible. Since Danwood only builds cold roofs, I have the vapor barrier in the slants, so I’m a bit unsure about that. But what would certainly work is to build everything self-supporting, possibly as a custom cabinet or even better modifying our PAX. We really like the idea and I think we will definitely implement it.

You could actually show what has become of the planning and the house (still without garden),

You are right, I hadn’t gotten back to you. Attached are some exterior views with the current status. As soon as there is a bit of order inside after the move, I will also upload some interior views. The granny flat will initially remain without interior fittings - we have to finish it gradually. In the end, we changed relatively little (were able to change) - we left out the utility room in the granny flat in favor of a generous corridor/entrance area, where hopefully the functions of the utility room can be integrated into the cupboards. In the bathroom, we forwent the bathtub - but I don’t have a floor plan with the updated layout.
