At this point, I am sure that would have also recommended her to you.

My opinion is (known as the 11ant motto): better take the material from your second and the implementers from your first choice as the other way around (or as mathematicians say, point before line). Why specifically a wooden house, do you know personally the cow that gave the milk for the wood?

My first problem is the appearance... windows in a wall almost half a meter thick just don’t look nice to me, I currently also have very deep windowsills, I don’t want that anymore. Secondly, the ecological aspect, wood as a building material is simply more environmentally friendly than bricks and concrete. Building a house is of course never climate-friendly, but at least you can do it a bit better. And then you also always read that wooden houses are better for allergy and asthma sufferers, that would benefit my husband if it’s true. We’ll sleep on it first and keep asking around, with the architect we’ve agreed to get back to her at the end of the month about how we want to proceed or not.

Solid wood or timber frame Ask where the tree stood Where the wood was cut. Otherwise, healthy living, which is not just advertising, is not cheap and does not allow some materials. Take the architect and stone. Our windows are positioned in the middle of the wall. Actually a nice depth.

Thank you :)
Did you then also build with bricks without additional external insulation?
