Thank you for continuing to think about this, very cool! We actually don’t mind the breakthrough to the small animal barn at all. Unfortunately, the living room is much too small. The first thing that came to my mind here: with this bay window trick, one could possibly bypass the knee wall on one side of the upper floor if the wall height of the bay window is made 3.80 m. Then the west-side rooms would all have a 2.06 m knee wall. But there is certainly a paragraph in the development plan that forbids that. But definitely keep it in mind.
I discussed a lot with my girlfriend and made many floor plan adjustments until something completely new finally emerged. The following topics were considered: - dark hallway made brighter, but the staircase is still not directly in the dirty area - small wardrobe next to the door - 2 m wide hallway (my urgent wish) - kitchen as a parallel layout - dark living room made into a friendly lounge where you can also read in daylight on weekends - staircase with another landing, so there are no small steps at the 90° bends - living room 4.5 m between couch wall and TV wall - living room can be arranged mirrored horizontally as long as we don’t have a projector yet - now all bathrooms and kitchen are on the same side of the house -> easier and cheaper for HAR - if the dining table is moved a bit up, a chair for chilling in the sun could be placed there.
The floor plan was slightly adjusted so that the house width is now 9.5 m, which should be good for the size of the rooms on the upper floor. At the same time, the length was reduced to 10.7 m, which benefits our south garden.
There is a draft plan for the upper floor, on which we have already been working for two days. Therefore, for now, only the ground floor is attached:
#Edit Only 4 instead of 5 rooms on the upper floor is also "approved". After a few floor plan proposals, we agreed – especially that no gable has to be wasted for the dressing room was a really great hint from you.
