Sorry, but what is a gap?

A gap is a column or a distance. In the case described above, it is a divergence between the dates of loan maturity and the disbursement of the [BSK].

An interim financing is required for this, the interest of which is not secured and (if one opts for the [Bauspardarlehen] option) is probably higher than today.

It's a matter of taste whether personal contact is important to someone... I have been with an online bank for many years and am satisfied, so Interhyp or Dr. Klein are alternatives for me. It can't hurt.

I ended up at the local Sparkasse through Dr. Klein. The Sparkasse would probably have been the last bank where I would have suspected they offer the cheapest deal.

But that's only because you came through an intermediary. The Sparkassen distinguish carefully between their "direct" customers and transactions they make through cooperation partners. There are sometimes significant differences.

Oh, and are you sure that this is always and everywhere the case?
