Has any of you implemented Sat IP? And what experiences have you had.
My electrician has concerns regarding bandwidth.

Then he has no idea - at a minimum, you set up GB networks (and even a 100MBit network easily handles it) in new constructions, so there are still plenty of reserves for the TV program.

I thought so too, but wanted to hear other opinions. Have you implemented SAT IP?

No, the classic way via coaxial cable - the receivers are too expensive for me to put them in every room. But since there is LAN everywhere, it can certainly be done sometime.

I agree with that too Coax cable practically costs nothing.., so I wired everything with it first and the quality is great... but LAN sockets in all corners in case you want to upgrade later.

In the end, everyone has to decide for themselves. I join the few here who consciously rely on few power outlets.

We will also consciously forego dozens of LAN sockets, satellite sockets, extra power outlets, etc., even though we had firmly planned for them, including financially.

I have found for myself that I tended to be too conservative, stuck in the present, and thought little about the future.

Considering the development alone in the last 10 years, it is almost nonsense to plan 20 years ahead for electronics in the house. The only thing that really makes sense, in my opinion, is to equip the house exactly as needed on the day of moving in + empty conduits to easily retrofit in the future without breaking open walls. No more and no less.

Moreover, I strongly assume that in 5-10 years we will barely see or need cables of any kind. But no one here can know that for sure. The assumption is still very plausible. The trend is towards few or no cables, especially in power supply.

Satellite for TV is dying out. Classic television in general as well. Therefore, I continue to suspect that IPTV, i.e. television from the internet, as well as media in general from the internet, will be the future. This trend has become increasingly clear for several years.

Those who want to spend hundreds/thousands of euros on armies of power outlets and LAN cables today should do so; it may have its justification. But for me personally, it does not.
