Maybe your measuring device is also a guessing tool. You can just tell me the designation, then you can quickly check the power without removing it. I'm simply interested as a sound lover.

I don't think that's a Schätzeisen, but it can certainly have a +/- 10% margin. Let's do the rest via PM, otherwise we'll be mega off-topic here. You have mail.

Of course the sockets are wired separately and individually switchable...anything else wouldn’t have made sense...and since we think a bit about what for before spending money and don’t just have things done...that’s what I would always recommend to everyone...in the media corner always make everything individually switchable....

And one more tip

For young families or generally people with children...have sockets installed with touch protection...I didn’t have that on my radar and then had to upgrade all the sockets a year later...

The surcharge, for example at Gira for child protection sockets, is marginal. If the craftsman does not take a €6 markup for himself, it is in the lower single-digit euro range. So it is worth considering equipping some sockets with them. With our little ones, we have been lucky so far; the newly accessible media switch is not operated senselessly.

What is switchable for everything? Well, to switch the devices... who needs a million clocks etc.? And everything consumes power all the time when it is plugged in... sure, it’s only half a watt here, two to three watts there... but with 5, 6, 7 devices, that already adds up to 20 watts... I’d rather save that by switching off the devices when not in use and thereby operate my bus power supply, because that has to run 24/7... and in "normal" houses you can also save yourself this unnecessary consumption...

With me, the sockets are switchable in any combinations or individually... for example:

- everything goes off when we leave the house
- the Christmas lights automatically come on in the evening and at some point during the night turn off again
- the TV, SAT, 5.1 all turn on together when you want to watch TV
- or the TV turns off and the projector, SAT, 5.1, Blu-ray turn on when you want to watch on the screen

And so on and so forth. Each time, only what you need is on and the other devices are disconnected from the power grid...

No, something misunderstood: Why have everything switchable individually - I see little sense in that. I also made the three sockets on the rack switchable together - otherwise a master-slave power strip would be simply possible. Then maybe a Blu-ray player would still be in standby for the time of the TV - completely negligible.

I also switch Christmas lights or various outdoor lights via DIN rail timer switches with external inputs & astro function.

Just want to say that for certain lighting and socket scenarios you don't necessarily need the bus.
