We have 4 outlets plus 2x LAN and still one outlet free despite TV, PS3, and soundbar. We use Amazon Prime and internet radio. For additional short-term needs, there is a power strip behind the soundbar. What is connected to all 13 outlets? I'm currently lacking a bit of imagination for that.

In the rental apartment with me: Fritzbox, NAS, 2 external hard drives, network switch, phone, AV receiver, TV, Sat receiver, Blu Ray player, Amazon Fire TV, remote control charging station, self-built Ambilight

There are actually 13 things, which now somewhat confuses me ^^ At least half of them are supposed to move to the basement or other places during the house construction.

TV gets a separate socket

The following must be connected to the lowboard:

    [*]Sat receiver
    [*]BlueRay
    [*]Apple TV
    [*]AV receiver
    [*]Subwoofer
    [*]Playstation or similar

So 6 sockets plus the media sockets

Fritz Box, switch and co are in the utility room, our TV does not need a stick or hard drives or receiver, the Blu-Ray player including 3-D display is included in the PS3. We do not have a charging station for the remote control. However, it would fit next to the sofa.

Television, 5.1 system, satellite receiver, network player, Blu-ray player, Xbox, USB charger, Christmas lights, etc. That already adds up to quite a bit...

It may be that we do not have the need due to our devices, but since the devices will be multimedia-upgraded in the future, I would rather invest in a power strip than an armada of sockets. It also works with a lowboard. Each bedroom as well as the kitchen additionally have a USB outlet with two ports each. They are very popular with us. The kids use theirs daily.
