And again a post without content.
We've seen that before... we're also waiting for it in vain.
You're right there. Specifically, the following points come to mind:
- You can spend a lot of money on the staircase. Depending on the manufacturer, a staircase made of oak instead of beech can easily cost 4000€ more. With 2 staircases and white stringers, that's almost 10000€. But we only ever quickly walk through the stairwell to reach another room. So, without extra cost and to avoid the 'children's room look,' we decided on a finger-jointed beech staircase with varying brightness.
- Own smart home solution based on radio. Not nearly as good as KNX, but we only use it for all the roller shutters and selected lights anyway
- Built-in wardrobes: Not much more expensive than normal wardrobes, but looks much nicer and creates more storage space
