Old buildings are not subject to the Energy Saving Ordinance Where is the water connection located Imagine it to me like an unheated garage. Here there is almost no house without a basement. Almost all have a residential basement. Our basement has nothing in common with a cellar either

The questionnaire was not filled out properly. No one knows what your actual room requirements are. What about children? Where is the terrace? Which way should the house face? Towards the garden in the northeast? Or would you prefer a south-facing terrace? On the west side facing the street? Where do you even want to place the house? Somehow the cart is put before the horse here. First, place the house on the plot, plan paths and driveway, and above all clarify the space requirements.

So the rooms actually fit as they are currently planned. 1 guest room and a study, guest bathroom, etc. Children are not planned at the moment but otherwise one of the existing rooms would have to be repurposed. The terrace should face southwest, i.e. in front of the living room. Driveway from the west; as a result, you obviously step out a bit from the door but teraaaw, going in the other direction doesn’t make sense.

With the platform staircase in the corner in the north, I can manage the ground floor and basement, but the upper floor can’t really be represented with the rooms like this. The bathroom on the upper floor with 8 sqm is somehow too small. Does anyone have a nice suggestion for this?

And one more question: if the garage is located in the basement - does it also need a window for ventilation or something like that?

We are not talking about spiral staircases, but about stairs that turn once or twice.

Actually, this is only about stairs, garage and basement construction or temperatures.

I only recommend considering ONE straight single-flight staircase starting at about double the floor area – having two of them at the same time is a specialty of the architectural firm Pyrrhus & Sisyphos
