Design for a single-family house with 160-180 sqm - suggestions for improvement?

We had already tried that - but then the garage is too small. A landing staircase needs about 3*2m. It doesn't really save anything compared to the two straight staircases (each 3.5sqm), does it?

Then make the house longer and narrower instead... but for that you would need the site plans and so on...

What I still don't quite understand is the terrain layout?

I understand that, but then either no car fits in the garage anymore or the rooms on the upper floor no longer fit. If anyone has an alternative suggestion on how to combine this, please let me know

Just theoretically: in your last drawing, you can put the stairs to the upper floor above the basement stairs if they turn halfway from the hallway. Or you do it the other way around. That then depends entirely on the upper floor, which I don't remember anymore...

They do you good on the ground floor, in the basement there is a place for tires, thinner and stuff.

On the upper floor you can arrange the rooms differently

Don't see a problem there either. But didn't TE have a planner? How many houses does he plan per year? 2?

North is up
