At the moment it would look like this, with blue marking the building window and green the access to the garage. The tree would probably have to be moved a bit to the right. Red would be the possibility of a terrace over the garage if you were to pull it forward. However, the access seems too short or the ramp too steep, although the house could still be pushed up a bit. Does that make sense? How much extra effort or cost does such a terrace on the garage cause?

Sorry, the meaning or advantage of this variant is not clear to me. On the contrary. To keep the driveway from being too long, you force the terrace close to the street. You still want to put 2 full floors on the garage, right? What exactly is the advantage compared to the original design?

This motivation only makes sense as long as a second staircase solely for the access from the garage into the house is not built. Also, why it should on the one hand be a cold cellar but on the other hand have a window for the garage sounds very "internally conflicted" to me. If the garage is actually only meant to essentially "prop up the house instead of using L-beams," I would give the basement just an external entrance and call it a day. That would at least be a clear concept.The idea of the garage in the basement was proposed because it supposedly does not cost significantly more than leaving out the basement, building an additional garage, and having to level the terrain. However, I have no idea if this is really true.

I didn't understand that now. I have lived in an apartment so far and never thought about cold cellars, l stones, or anything else. No idea whether you need a window in the garage or not. That was a question and has nothing to do with ripped.
