The bathroom shifts completely to the left. In return, the living room virtually gets a reading nook (1.3m wide and 2m deep).

Hmm. The floor plan is far from finished yet - I agree with the criticism about the stairs.

The planned reading area in the living room will hardly be useful, but will ruin all your furnishing possibilities. Where is there supposed to be reasonable space left for a TV wall?

I really think it wouldn't hurt you to walk through model homes or at least houses of parents/ current apartment with a tape measure (!!!)!
Especially the 3.8 m in the living room would quickly become irrelevant. Since couches nowadays often have a depth of 1 m or more, there isn’t enough distance left to the TV. We had a rough construction dimension of 4.2 m and still find that - with the new couch - *acceptable*.

How are you furnishing the living room
From where is the bathroom accessible or is the wardrobe being removed (which is really practical and nice

The reading corner is just a makeshift solution
I find that uncomfortable

At the moment we have the wardrobe in the hallway which actually fits well; especially if there were still space in the basement. Do you really need something like that or don’t the few jackets fit under the stairs and, if necessary, in the basement?

Are there actually any suggestions for the basement? Does that make sense? How wide does such a garage have to be? So far we only have one car which would fit in sideways.

Are there any other suggestions for the living room door? What size is your kitchen? We rather don’t need a kitchen island – I think for that a kitchen would need to be at least 20sqm so that it looks good.

Even with less than 100% shading, meaning roller shutters, there is still heat. Then you might as well darken the side facing the neighbor to the east... (it’s basically the same if the windows stay dark anyway )
However, I wonder what it means that the neighbor "comes from the east." Does he stand in front of the window all evening watching you? Does he visit???
I’ll give you the tip to thoroughly study houses, neighbors, floor plans, and room proportions. Everything here is still thought through too immaturely, so this sketch is only a reference point at a very early stage and justified as such, but nothing more. The sketch or draft is the beginning of a longer journey to your own house. Much more understanding and creativity belong to the final design.
