This town center usually already belongs to a smaller town, which in turn belongs to a very small city about 5 km away. You are on a completely wrong track there. Settling in the outer area is reserved for specific groups of people who can justify it with their necessary proximity to forest and fields. Not breaking through the wall between the living room and the chamber will not create any legal protection for you. As long as you lack a hunting license, you will have to clean out a stable – only whether chicken or cow you can choose for yourself.
