City villa floor plan - suggestions for changes?

Extending the intermediate section would cost about €5000, I was told, and that really raises the question - do we need this extension? It would now only be the waiting area for the patients.

I already did. She said the kitchen might become too small then. Although they would have a pantry... hmm the idea is actually good.

It is really good because the vacuum cleaner and the beer crate can also be stored there.
The kitchen won't become too small because you extend the kitchen wall at the bottom of the plan a bit further down than in the original plan.

Maybe I should also mention that on our property not far from the kitchen we have a huge, historic and well-developed rock cellar (with electricity). This will serve as an additional storage room and utility closet.

Why not make the technical room inaccessible from the kitchen? Then maybe potatoes,... could be stored in the technical room. The bathroom could be made correspondingly larger.

I wouldn't do that. Potatoes need darkness and coolness, and the technical room is usually quite warm. If possible, I wouldn't use the technical room for food storage.
