Utility room in the south, garage in the SW... living area in the north... Nothing is well thought out here!

I see it the same way as . I wouldn't plan my house for 50 years from now. Besides, there are also stair lifts. I also find one of the children's rooms too small. What is supposed to become of the office upstairs if that one is moved downstairs? The architect seems to be a fan of corner toilets I would definitely plan for 2 sinks for 4 people. Why do so many people plan a terrace around the corner? You don't put tables and chairs on both sides, do you? Maybe better to put the kitchens on that side for short walking distances outside?

In my opinion, the bedroom just doesn't work at all ... Next to the headboard are the doors on each side.

2 very differently sized children's rooms, I guess the orientation is north? Because, what exactly is north now? A small north arrow in the drawing would save a thousand words.

A lot of space is wasted due to long distances throughout the house.

Kitchen

At 269 cm room width? Or are the walls to the living area supposed to be completely removed?
And then take a look at the path from kitchen to terrace.

Door garage / utility room ... rather useless, in any case it doesn't shorten anything.

The office on the ground floor is not suitable as a bedroom in old age, at least no wardrobe fits there anymore.

How is the slope taken into account? In the house area there is probably more than 140 cm.

Why is nothing well thought out? I do like such blanket statements. We want shade on the terrace. What ideas would you have for improvement?

The "office" upstairs is first supposed to serve as a storage room. Alternatively as a "night shift bedroom"
It’s not the architect who is a fan of corner toilets – that’s us It gives a nice spatial feeling.

The terrace around the corner is more supposed to be an alternative option in case we do want to sit "behind the house" sometimes. Behind the house, there will anyway be a strip paved up to the garage door, so it hardly makes any extra effort.

Yesterday we revised the bedroom with the walk-in closet, the architect is currently changing the plans.
We now have access to the walk-in closet from the hallway – then there is peace in the bedroom

The walls between kitchen and living/dining area are completely gone – here we are also waiting for the current draft. The kitchen unit will move to the left wall, so 5.60 m in length. At the back, there will be a terrace door in the kitchen.

The door garage/utility room is a must for us – that way you enter the house on dry feet and can store drinks etc. in the utility room without much carrying.

The slope on the property will be greened behind the house and possibly retained, at least the neighbor’s garage.

Why do you have to stay out? What don’t you like?
Of course, the garage is included – why else would I plan it?

Regards
Kevin
