Hello everyone - to prevent even more threads on the same topic from being started, I have resurrected this one from obscurity, I hope that is OK!

My wife and I are starting construction in April and are now looking for wood-look tiles that won’t break the budget too much. For the tiles themselves, a standard price of 30€ per square meter is estimated, so the surcharge shouldn’t be too high. Since we don’t want any transitions, the entire ground floor (just under 100 sqm) is to be covered with wood-look tiles. (It will be tiles anyway, but we just like the look.)

We have now come across tiles from Novabell ("My Space", color cognac, size either 15*90 or 21*90) which at 38€ without discount initially don’t seem to be a big surcharge. Now we would be interested to know if they are really inexpensive or rather cheap – maybe someone has already laid them. The abrasion class (5) and slip resistance class (10) are at least acceptable. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find any reviews so far.

Our prices without discount are €39.50, in the format 20x120 and 30x120. See photo.
Below, 4 possible wall tiles, which we unfortunately cannot decide on...

Yes, they are indeed beautiful. We just hope that they will not be too restless on the surface. In some photos, they appear very calm, in others rather not.

I think it depends on the tile. There are some that are relatively monochromatic and others that are quite colorful.

We now also want wood-look tiles. At least that is the current status. And it is not easy to find "good" affordable ones. The format should be in the direction of planks, so not a classic tile format (usually the cheaper ones), and a major issue is of course the decor. Cheaper tiles repeat themselves a lot on the surface. It just looks weird when every tile has a knot in the same spot. Individual pattern tiles don't really help much either; you actually need a small, laid-out area to really judge that.
