Then not much light comes in from the side either.

Are you sure that this is really the most economical solution?

Without changing much. Small pantry, in which by the way no freezer fits, get rid of it, neither the kitchen nor the children's room has a bitten-off corner
Combine the toilet with the storage room and make it a little deeper as a small shower bathroom for the children.
Slightly enlarge the technical room, especially if house technology, storage, and washing machine are to go there
Large bedroom access from the hallway and not from the vestibule
Own parents' bathroom access from the bedroom.

oh sorry... I thought I had replied... umm... sooooo the thing about the plan was my mistake.. not oriented north... north is where we don’t have windows and where the other building connects. The fire protection only refers to the upper part, which is not used anyway and empty. Everything below is freely selectable except for the 2 fixed walls and the 6 supports. A site plan of the property is actually not necessary, since 3 sides are open and on one side a building is attached.... the top in the roof is open. The roof at the top stays as it is and will not be considered... (too expensive) The living space height is then 2.50 m. So I hope I haven’t forgotten anything

What might possibly still play a role, what will eventually happen to the roof. Dismantling, expansion

What plays a role above all is the budget.
