So normally, a 7sqm dressing room is enough for a lot of clothes. If you only need the office occasionally, I would skip it and make the upper floor more spacious. Also, there might then be room for a children's bathroom. You could then set up a small workspace in a slightly larger master bedroom. I think you should just go to the architect and please without your plans.

The funny thing is still the door from the dressing room to the bathroom. Now you save 2m of walking. You go out of the dressing room into the hallway 1-2m and you're in the bathroom. I don't understand the door dressing room -> bathroom at all.

I agree with you and see it similarly... but I am not building alone and as they say - a relationship is a matter of finding compromises....:p

After the plot is ignored, take a standard floor plan and see if your room program fits. Use real furniture, desired or existing, and draw it to scale. Consider movement space. Table with occupied chairs. Engage with your apartment to see what fits, what is too tight. What do friends, family, etc. like.

I find the bathroom size okay. However, none of us here are really fans of beauty marathons. I would have looked more to take a bit off from a dressing room so that there is a decent office/guest room. If, as you say, that is also not really needed, it might also be possible to completely omit it and look for another solution?

I am not familiar with the exact measurements – I leave that to our architect.

I am also building together with my wife. She would NEVER come up with the idea to install a door and thus block the space just for a 2m shorter path....
