I haven’t followed everything, but is it really not possible to move the guest room to the ground floor and thereby create more space upstairs? On the ground floor, I saw a large storage room that could perhaps also be used as a guest room. We only have a small storage room upstairs and that is completely sufficient for us. A lot fits in the technical room as well; heating and other technical equipment are no longer big nowadays and we also still have plenty of storage space there, so an additional storage room on the ground floor is not necessary.

So, it goes on. I removed the bulky staircase and now made sure that all rooms are as rectangular as possible. After planning the upper floor, I had to realize that no major changes were necessary for the ground floor. Rather, the possibility even arose to accommodate a coat rack in the hallway.

The transition from dressing room/bedroom/balcony looks a bit cramped. However, we decided on this because two doors are linked at one point and the dressing room retains as much usable surface as possible. The door towards the bedroom is generally supposed to remain open and only be closed when absolutely necessary (e.g. when one partner wants to dress and the other is still sleeping).

Again, the note: Plans were created by me as a layperson and therefore do not comply with all standardized requirements (e.g. hallway staircase width)…

Better than before, but...

The hallway is too narrow at 1.60m (bottleneck staircase passage of 0.50/0.60m). I would widen it by at least 0.50m.

The office will not be a room where you like to spend 8-12 hours a day.

I somehow find the proportions a bit off:
- Your dressing room is almost as big as the children's room in [SO]
- Storage, utility room, and pantry make up almost 1/4 of the ground floor area

Maybe it suits your needs, but it wouldn't be suitable for ours.

Thank you for the feedback. As I said, I am not familiar with the exact measurements – I leave that to our architect. :) But I think you can still take a few centimeters out of the upstairs hallway. The office is rarely used and serves for occasional, private PC work. Thanks to you too! We both have professional clothing to store, so we planned generously. Do you think the bathroom should rather be enlarged?

The funny thing is still the door from the dressing room to the bathroom. You save 2m of walking now. You go out of the dressing room into the hallway 1-2m and you’re in the bathroom. I don’t understand the door dressing room -> bathroom at all.
