I would say everything was done right.
With the slow stairlift, you then have enough time to admire the overpriced white stairs.

Yes, but then you're probably already too blind for it.

Even though I have seen it that way until now and have installed at least a double LAN line in every room, the development in the Wi-Fi segment is quite enormous. The latest Fritzboxes now broadcast in parallel, and the speed is also increasing.
In addition, the end devices are changing as well. Who still has a desktop at home today? Smartphones, notebooks, and iPads replace fixed devices. So, you can't avoid Wi-Fi.
Moreover, in the future, other devices will be added that no one has thought of so far, and where no LAN cable is laid.

Networks have spread from the corporate sector into households and thus had and have a performance advantage. Since not everyone in an apartment can pull network cables, the mass market in the consumer sector is moving more towards Wi-Fi and thus promotes development in this area.

In 10 years, when we are shooting data for our 3D hologram projector through Cat7, Wi-Fi will also be that advanced, or every device will get the data directly from the Google Cloud base in space, or or or.

OK, the router is in the office. Where is the first TAE from Telekom (I'm assuming the standard Telekom connection)? Basement? To connect the first TAE with the router, 2 wires are enough but there they usually install a 4x2 wire (LAN) cable. Are further telephone sockets planned? If yes, then these must go from the router because of VoIP, but you can also just do LAN and use the LAN sockets with adapters for telephones. An alternative is of course a DECT phone (cordless) and the router as the base station or the base station plugged into the router. Range OK?

LAN at the TV. About a year ago I also started to prefer using media libraries more. Since then I watch more media libraries than regular TV programs. WLAN works, but when more users are on the WLAN, it can happen that the TV picture freezes. LAN is just more stable! Maybe someday there will also be a desire for Telekom Entertain.

These are just some suggestions.

To my predecessor. It is about a 110 sqm bungalow, without a basement, with Ytong walls, no floors, one level. Telekom comes in the northwest in the utility room. The cable from their point then goes to the office, middle south. Centrally next to the living room and bedroom. That is the only telephone socket. The router with WLAN signal is connected to it, which in my opinion should cover every room in the house and also the terrace. Additionally, my telephone fax device, which has a cordless handset, is connected to the router. One landline number for voice, one fax device. I also plug the PC into the router. The iPads go via WLAN. So that's basically the plan. Now possibly also the TV network socket. However, our TV can already do WLAN. And we now have DSL 16000, of which maybe 9000 arrive. And YouTube on the TV works well. The two of us old, blind consumption refusers only watch first, second, third [channels], and if there is nothing, the box is off. And we listen to music and play on the iPad or read something. With glasses! Karsten

And in 20 years we won’t need anti-wrinkle cream anymore because the bathroom won’t reflect at all, but will be a monitor-camera combination whose camera chip calculates us younger in real time.

Somehow this reminds me of Archibald Tuttle.
