I can only agree with that. It very much depends on your own standards, your own effort, and the tradespeople needed for support. Patience and time also play an important role ;) If you have no time besides your regular work, even the best craftsmanship won’t help much. You simply need the time for your own effort. At least that’s our experience. And always plan for unplanned costs with 10%. We had to remove and reinstall the entire ceiling in the extension. That was not apparent beforehand.
