It already looks as if there had been moisture there at some point. If you look at the construction description under the link above, it can happen from time to time that individual elements loosen over time due to trapped moisture. That was not the case with us. Without really deeply intervening in the construction, I don't see a solution there. The connecting beams are only at the bottom and top of the elements. If you drive a screw straight through the wall, you have a condensate point par excellence.

Good morning,
thank you very much for the quick response.
You mean you can't just screw the elements on (Kondensatstellen)?
How can we fix the bulging spots again now without them coming loose further?

We have seen from your previous posts that you plastered your house. Judging from these pictures, it is probably the same house as ours.

How did you plaster your house? With a substructure or did you apply something directly to the elements or plaster?
Do we have to remove the elements beforehand because of the bulging spots (if we also plaster) or would it hold then?

We would also like to speak with you personally to simplify the process and possibly clarify any questions directly. Please write if that would be okay for you.

I consider this facade to be a rather neat weather protection and would leave it as is. As I understood it, the small cosmetic defect has no construction-damaging effect and is therefore harmless to the value of the house. According to recent speculations, exchanging personal messages requires both communication participants to have reached at least 250 posts. I solved this for myself by having an account with the same nickname as here in the forum at a free email provider (gmx de). Then you only need to write here in the forum which provider you use and thus are less likely to get spam than if you write out the full address.

We have wood fiber insulation on it, which then serves as a plaster carrier. I can't think of a "nice" solution to straighten that out.

Hello,
thanks in advance for the information.
But we have further questions. To have better protection for the exterior facade, we would prefer the option with wood fiberboards and plaster.
Did you screw or glue the wood fiber insulation directly onto the aluminum exterior facade, or did you install a substructure (also for background ventilation)?
If substructure, what material was it made of and what air gap was there between the house wall and the wood fiberboard?
How thick should the wood fiberboard be?
Is the wood fiberboard including plaster not too heavy for the existing house wall? There are no beams - except for the upper and lower cross beams.
Sorry for the many questions.

Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and have a question:
We live in a SEH Landskrona (manufacturer AB-Elementhus, year of construction 1980) and would like to renovate both bathrooms (downstairs and upstairs) because the wall cladding in the showers is gradually becoming unsightly at the bottom. The cladding apparently consists of hard fiberboards that were covered with fabric or similar material and then lacquered. We want to restore the walls to a like-new condition with aluminum Dibond panels. Unfortunately, I do not have any construction documents for the house.
Is it possible to get documents from one of the forum members that show the wall structure of the interior walls (especially in the bathroom) so that I can instruct the plumbing company accordingly? If possible, complete construction documents would be even better, as I think there will be some renovation work coming up in the next few years.
Of course, I will cover any costs incurred.
Please send me an email or a brief message here in the forum, I will get back to you promptly.
Thank you very much in advance
Peter
