Small single-family house with approx. 140m² - any improvement suggestions?

Washing machine in the bathroom is simpler in terms of noise and water, I would not rule it out despite the utility room on the upper floor if a spot can be found.

Our bathroom is similar to #30, probably a few m2 more, but with the washing machine behind the shower on the exterior wall and the toilet as in post #27. Even the drying rack fits in the bathroom next to the tub and still does not stand in the traffic area. Everything in a separate utility room on the upper floor is certainly nicer but very practical with limited space.

I like Kaho's last suggestion.
A room without any window would be bad.

- We need water upstairs in the utility room then. So you need a shaft from below, right?

There is a shaft somewhere for the bathroom. The rest should disappear into the floor. So no, I don't think you need another shaft.

How much distance is there between the sofa and the TV in the living room? If you pull it away from the wall as planned, I would estimate it won’t be more than 3 m. I think that’s way too little. Better leave it against the wall at the back then.

thanks kaho for the new floor plan. After careful consideration, we realized that we would have to make too many compromises inside the house if we placed so much importance on the external design of the windows. Therefore, the exterior appearance of the windows is not so important to us for now. We then optimized our last floor plan a bit and would like to go into the next meeting with the architect with this one.

: Yes, that is exactly 3m from the head to the TV. This distance is sufficient for us for now. If not, we can always push the couch back.
: Unfortunately, we can't make the bathroom bigger, so it probably fits better with the separated utility room on the upper floor.
