Small single-family house with approx. 140m² - any improvement suggestions?

Definitely have a washing machine connection installed in the storage room upstairs. We argued endlessly that the utility room wasn’t sufficient for this, you’re specifically planning the room upstairs, and now the washing machine is even placed under the stairs in a 5m² room, which also houses all the technical equipment! Absurd!

But in my opinion, the pipes for the washing machine definitely don’t cut it.

I’m always a bit surprised at how quickly building owners give in when the general contractor says "it’s complicated" or "laborious". This is your house. You’re the ones who will ultimately live there, and usually for quite a while.
Our general contractor wouldn’t have flinched at all. If I had said it needs to go in there, then it needs to go in there, and solutions were put on the table.
