Sure: You come in and run into the sink. There is no natural light from the side at the sink – only from behind or diagonally behind. You can only see yourself in the mirror with artificial light. The path to the small window is blocked by a cabinet. The passage between the shower wall and the sink is an ugly tight spot that makes the room uncomfortable. Also, with new buildings (which doesn’t always work, ok), the aim is to have space on the left and right of the sink for the usual cabinets of a bathroom furniture set.

Ok, sounds plausible. Would you have a counterproposal? We would find it quite nice if the shower could do without a glass wall and if there is privacy screening for the toilet. Otherwise, we unfortunately have no ideas.

Maybe later. Something like that can also be asked in a small separate thread, the response is often higher there. But don't forget to say what is non-negotiable – for example, the door position, what you want, and what absolutely should not be included.

I don't want to be a spoilsport, but with a width of 3.62 RBM up there between the exterior wall and the stairs (bathroom/bedroom), furnishing the new bedroom won't work if you add a wardrobe next to the double bed and expect to be able to get out of bed comfortably. Even a drawn-in mini tub in the bathroom doesn't help with the limited dimensions.

Thank you for the note. The walls are supposed to be 11.5cm thick. How much do you lose then due to plaster, etc.? We have adjusted the floor plan to have 3.75m RBM. That should be enough for us. The bed is 1.90m and we have calculated 60cm of space on each side. That should work well, right?
