I also don’t understand why the OP doesn’t rotate the bed. Because of the window on the front side? If that were a highlight, I could understand, but so far I only see random memory.

Here is a front with a bit of remodeling that I could imagine:

To avoid running into the cupboard, you could even swap the door and window in the hallway on the ground floor without losing much in terms of appearance.

You lose about 2 cm per wall due to plaster. 60 cm is quite tight. It certainly works, but we have calculated with 80 cm. For comparison, we have a width of 3.85m and I wouldn’t put a large closet next to the bed there anymore. We only place a dresser with a depth of 30 cm. You don’t want to squeeze along the bed in the house. After all, it’s a house; it should all be a bit more spacious when you have the opportunity.

Just a quick note about the space next to the bed. Normally, you can still get into the bed quite well, but at the latest when you vacuum under the bed, you'll notice that it’s just annoying if there isn’t enough space for that. My personal experience (we have 80cm and I would like more), I just wanted to share that.

Thanks again for the comments! Our next step is now to talk to the architect first. That should work within the next 2 weeks. I will get back to you then.

Hello everyone,

what takes long...
We have finally received the first drafts from the architect.
Before I now list our adjustment requests, I am very curious to see what tips/suggestions will still come our way here.

Thank you very much in advance!
