Looking for a floor plan for a hillside house

Again, even with the planned external staircase: a hillside house requires _more_ an architect than a flat plot. A house with a granny flat requires _more_ an architect than a standard house. The design you posted here does not show a livable granny flat (no washing facilities, living room too small, no balcony or similar). Also, it is too small for three sisters. Main apartment: stairwell too narrow, apartment corridors, no windows or... No one here seems to have an idea of how the whole thing could look from the outside or how the terrain gradient could be.

I have to correct myself, of course only one of the sisters will move in. I want to fill in behind the "garage" and then place the actual house on the ground level, attached is a separate sketch for clarification outside.

The arrangement of the rooms on the ground floor, especially the utility room, does not suit me either. I would prefer if the staircase from the garage and the staircase to the upper floor were aligned.

I suspected it: a standard house is being _pressed_ onto a sloping plot here!

The slope offers so many beautiful possibilities that I don’t see utilized here... and no windows on the upper floor? It’s probably just a sketch, but still... the floor plan could be done better. For example, I see no point at all in the staircase from the garage to the ground floor – what’s that supposed to be good for? A second staircase takes up space and is annoying. There’s nothing wrong with entering the house from the ground floor. The "basement" behind the garage could, according to the view, also be next to the garage and likewise accessible from the outside, since you don’t have to go there that often. And just like that, the annoying second staircase is gone.

Is there a specific reason why only such a small part is to be basemented? If you basement the house further/deeper, you can use the ONE staircase and still have a bit more space in the basement. You could possibly also move the utility room downstairs.

I would very much like to have access from the garage in order to be able to go directly into the house with shopping or from work with documents, etc., in any weather. Since I am also very dissatisfied with the floor plan, I sketched a new model today with a garage in the basement and a terrace on columns/supports. Then the house would be completely basemented. I initially wanted to avoid "dark" basement rooms, which would cost me more than expanding the floor area of the house.
