You’re welcome. The draft is only intended to show you by example that – with skillful planning – considerably more is possible than your planner has managed so far.

Yes. Our interested parties would like to separate the closet a bit; that's also why there is the small stub wall behind the stairs.

Why? Then you have to compromise quite a bit with the wall construction if the facing bricks are not supposed to protrude.

Um – you have already seen that I have deleted your 2nd draft from post #15

Hello,

Your overnight guest would probably sleep in the study, right?

That alone would be a reason for me to keep the shower in the bathroom on the ground floor - we enjoy having "our" bathroom in the attic all to ourselves. Other points that, in my opinion, speak in favor of a shower in the ground floor bathroom are a better resale potential (this shower is already almost "standard" today) and also the possibility for you to shower on the ground floor in case of (temporary) physical limitations (cast leg, etc.).

Regarding the bathroom in the attic, if I were you, I would also consider the following points:

- Relocate the bathtub as a corner bathtub or around the corner into the corner opposite the door - this should create a more airy feeling in the room and allow you a larger door opening angle.

- Plan for a second sink - I find a single sink a bit tight for the planned 4-person household.

Regards,

Dirk
