So, I actually find the bay window quite nice, it breaks things up and in my opinion, it also makes sense. I would even enlarge it by a few centimeters; then you could possibly move the wall of the study a bit further, to the benefit of the utility room.

In the corner by the fireplace, I would miss a window.

Access to the terrace becomes an obstacle course.

The kitchen would definitely be too small for me. As soon as kids are there, you will lack space. You wouldn’t believe how much space they need in the kitchen (bottle warmer, sterilizer, bottles, plastic bowls, plates, and cups) once they are there. You can’t compare a kitchen for 2 people with a kitchen for 4 people.

On the whole, the ground floor feels very cramped and tight for this size of house.

Perhaps consider whether the garage could be pushed back a bit more so that a window could be added in the stair area (and maybe in the fireplace area).

Upstairs: I think the bathroom is okay as is.

The dressing room might be a bit narrow. I’m thinking about the movement space in front of the wardrobes.

To be honest, I believe that the bay window only came about out of necessity, as the room layout on the ground floor would not have worked otherwise.

Yes, that’s no problem if that’s the case. We also have a "necessity bay window" on the gable side on the ground floor so that we can extend the dining table.
I like bay windows if it’s financially feasible and they also look good aesthetically. By the way, we have a shed roof with tiles on our bay window. A balcony would also be an option for me in this case, especially since it’s apparently the south side.

The access to the HAR is very inconvenient. You have to go into the kitchen and then close the door again to get into the room. That means the kitchen door has to be moved every time or it stays completely open. But it looks like there isn’t enough space for that. I find that very inconvenient.

The shower upstairs looks very dark on the plan. There could be a risk that the shower appears like a dark hole. I am not a fan of T solutions.

No, not at all. As already mentioned, the purpose is that we like the view better this way and gain more space as a result.

Yes, I think so too... That's why we will virtually reverse the door and have it open to the other side...
We saw a similar bathroom in a show house that we really liked. The shower had LEDs installed, so it looked really great.

Unfortunately, the garage is not allowed to be pushed much further back (the architect told us that..)
I also agree that the fireplace is not placed quite optimally there, maybe put it in the left corner?
