Are you sure that the roller shutters will work on the upper floor? The roller shutter box needs about 30cm + thickness. Then you can plan a maximum of one window from the floor with 1.40 - 1.50 m height. But that means that, depending on your height, you can't look outside without bending down. We also once considered a 2.15 m knee wall and our architect said that we can only have windows max. 1.70 m high from the floor and that it wouldn't work with roller shutters. So I’m surprised about your setup? Or are the roller shutters planned to be installed from the outside?
Sorry, the lintel is at 2.20 m. No, the roller shutter box is definitely not planned from the outside.
With your sofa position, you’re not exactly looking into the garden. And usually, one goes from the kitchen into the garden (herbs, summer, grilling, getting drinks, etc.) rather than from the living room.
That’s how our sofa is currently arranged (although we need a new one), anyway, I’m not quite sure which corner to put it in (the living room is basically finished, except for the fireplace).
