Rhetorical question :) Not all sections comply with the maximum clear space. The balusters are constructed so that in the case of children or little explorers, the railing can be secured with a panel. However, this railing is not DIN compliant.

The planning and the previous photos of the construction progress suggest that the double "height zoning" in the area of the stairs/lounge/kitchen combined with the staircase platform to the upper floor is a very special highlight of the house. I would be happy to see photos of the completed area.

We are currently crafting the individual oak steps by hand from the remains of our aunt's barn; as soon as this entire hallway area is completed I will upload pictures;)
