I can gladly fill out the questionnaire, but it contradicts the intention of this thread. The question is initially not "Please help me with my floor plan/house plan." But for you, I'll gladly provide it :)

However, the room program is fixed, which is why we can only influence the development to a limited extent.
The original planning was not the pain threshold. But even we did not include a buffer for this increase.

Exactly. And that's why not for me, because I don't want to give anyone an opinion that is not wanted ;) I only replied to . Nothing more.

I'm curious about the changes. I find the current draft very confident, with a very appealing format and appearance. I like the idea of using the step for sitting at the dining table as a very unique detail. I think that also provides enough space there. It's always difficult to reduce the size of a draft without taking away its character. If you placed a nice trailer for guests on the property for about 10k, it would create opportunities to shorten the building somewhat. Of course, I don't know the guests and their expectations, length of stay, or desire for integration into daily life. I wouldn't isolate frequently desired parental visits like that.

So dear ones, it continues,
after 6 months the building application has finally been approved.

The cost explosion has of course led to us shrinking to 153m2 of living space and having to contribute quite a bit of equity.

Current offers:
Carpenter upper floor: €134k (timber frame)
Shell construction ground floor including garage: €157k (self-build including cell block)
Windows approx.: €60k (plastic/aluminum)

The shell builder can start on the ground floor in mid-September.
I’m finally excited to be able to start.
Stay tuned :)
