If you deviated from the standard of your supplier, for example replaced the owed wooden staircase with a concrete staircase, that can definitely be the case. In this case, the railing usually has to be ordered separately. Is that all that is stated in your BB regarding the standard staircase and its execution? No further additional agreement concerning the staircase? Rhenish regards

If a railing was ordered with the staircase, then one must have been chosen as well. What did you order? Wooden railing, stainless steel railing? Glass? Handrail round, curved? If you didn't choose one, you most likely didn't order one either. Staircase and railing are two different things. Not every stonemason has a locksmith's or carpenter's workshop, and vice versa.

Not if the OP stayed with the standard; for example, if she switched to a concrete staircase, I agree with you.

You absolutely cannot state it like that.

And the standard railing must then be deducted. A good (oh, what am I saying, an average/satisfactory) contractor, however, informs his customers about this.

depending on which price category the homebuilder has.

there should be, for example, automobile manufacturers who also deliver without air conditioning

Question: The text says: "Ends at the exit post." Therefore, the contractually owed in relation to the staircase should have been delivered, provided that no fall protection for the staircase opening was agreed upon!? Now, of course, we would need to know whether any other protection was agreed upon; it is also possible that a wall or similar is depicted in the plans as protection, which is still owed by the structural builder!?
