We don't have a basement; that is our living room. So it will be plastered and provided with a wooden casing.

not much is happening outside. However, the facade work will begin in two weeks. Then the little house will finally get its final look. Inside, the tilers, plasterer, and we are busy at work. The red lime plaster will soon be finely plastered, and the ceilings on the ground floor will get the painter's fleece. Currently, we are still glazing the raw wooden ceilings (takes forever in EL!) and at the same time, I am doing the electrical work.

The kitchen is supposed to arrive in October, and moving in is planned for November. We are very happy that everything has gone so smoothly so far. (Ohne die kleinen Problemchen die wohl jeder Bauherr hat)

I like the stair railing. When I built, they were not really common yet.

I feel transported back in time. We also mostly did the electrical work ourselves. But we had the ceilings glazed. The painter taped everything off and set up a spray device for that. Then glazed twice with it. With about 240m² of ceiling area in 4 residential units, that would no longer have been feasible for us time-wise and I found the offer acceptable at the time (€3400 including VAT for "taping off, sanding and coating twice with ADLER Lignovit Interior UV 100").
