If the substructure is executed as a precast concrete staircase, then the wooden covering, which here looks like a folded structure, should "simply" be just a covering without a load-bearing function and thus should only account for the price of a covering. Or? I would be interested..... including the railing. Would like more info about it.

Sorry, I can't help with that. I've only seen it as a sample.

You are already correct, it is not a folding staircase if there is a concrete substructure - but it was probably the best term to clarify what was desired.

Accordingly, it is "only" a wooden covering, which is not comparable to the costs of a folded plate staircase at all. The photos shown by , especially the railing that seems to rest on the staircase, do not comply with DIN requirements and cannot really be built this way.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. The look is actually unique now - many staircase builders do that (also as a normal folded plate staircase).

I have no idea about the details of the DIN, but when it comes to railings, you have to be careful. In a single-family house, a lot is allowed. And do not be fooled by the costs. If you use solid risers and treads, it is probably still cheaper than if it were a proper load-bearing folded structure staircase. However, I believe I have seen prices between 3-5k for one floor here in the forum. Of course, you can also have it made from parquet; there are also special parquet stair edges.
