Nope. It's different for every house. With this house, I don't see any need at all - except for the little pink one...

We find it sufficient this way, besides, our hands are somewhat tied if we want to build "even" bigger. After all, we want to pay everything off within a certain framework and still afford other things; it doesn’t help if everything gets taller, bigger, further and costs 700,000 € (just the house) or more. For some that’s okay, for us not.
It’s okay for the man to go to the basement when a third or fourth child comes (this suggestion came from him).

Where exactly in the living area should the floor-to-ceiling windows go? A single-leaf terrace door would still be possible in the kitchen, but for us that’s not practical. Where the sofa goes, floor-to-ceiling windows don’t work, or it’s pointless if the sofa stands in front of them. The other sides face the street or the garage and are also not suitable.
You can also look out the window into the beautiful garden.

The two WCs on the ground floor (as stated in the opening post, a must-have), we have our reasons, but everyone has different ideas.

We have enough storage rooms and when we were younger even more since the basement also offers three large rooms, storage space.

So excuse me, but you don’t have to speak/write like that.
What use are the 2 sqm of the toilet in the common room to us?? Nothing at all,
I already answered the question about a second toilet on the ground floor in my previous response. To each their own, and yes, I asked for your opinions and am now just explaining why we are doing it differently.

The office will be built so that it fits. The wardrobe will go on the wall facing the staircase; a 3m long and 80cm wide one with sliding doors will easily fit there.
The bed will go on the wall facing the corridor, also fitting easily, even with a walker.

I don’t know the exact room height right now, but I believe with underfloor heating, covering, plaster, paint, etc., it’s 2.40m. The plans are current except for minor details. I didn’t want to include dimensions, but thanks for the hint.
