We have a large kitchen with lots of storage space = our pantry.

We still need to talk about the laundry chute, it's a good idea. Thanks.

I just comment on things we ourselves have already thought back and forth about changing, but it doesn’t help or isn’t possible or we don’t want to. Like I said, we thought about it extensively, but sometimes others also have good ideas. See the laundry chute. Sorry if it comes across that way.
Regards

It's not just about the 2 sqm. The entire bathroom's size is being questioned. A shower bathroom would be completely sufficient. If the wet cell is shrunk to this size, almost an entire room remains. It would be nice if that could be added to the scarce overall space.

Presumably, it will soon be decided to use only 1 WC downstairs so that you don't have to clean 2 bathrooms all the time. Or they'll tear out the WC again to have a pantry.

I can only recommend it, we thought about it for a long time because of costs and noise ... today I am so happy to have it ... apart from the hole in the concrete ceiling, we did it ourselves and it makes laundry much easier when the master bathroom is upstairs

How big would the ground floor bathroom be then? What size would the wet cell have? 2 sqm? hmm... I'm confused.
You have to see how it goes...

How did you do it yourselves?

Well, by "TE" (thread creator) I simply meant "the thread creator m/f/d" Of course, the room height is not "important." But it does represent the third dimension of a room. The room proportions are not entirely unimportant when it comes to making the room appear larger or smaller. Depending on the construction site, a minimum size is even prescribed. If the size is sufficient for you, then everything is wonderful!
