We have also noticed that [Fensterbank+Steckdose] is a popular charging spot for all of our and visitors' mobile devices. It is naturally intended for lighting, etc., especially since power is basically already there because of the blinds (ok, whatever, since we had FP per outlet).

We also have power outlets by the windows everywhere. For the Saxons, lighting in the window definitely belongs to Christmas.

We even still have a string of lights hanging in the window. Every day when I come home, my 1.5-year-old son takes me by the hand and proudly shows me the lights in the window. I don’t dare to remove the lighting.

Otherwise, our windowsill is also a child-safe charging spot for phones and a place for digital photo frames, etc.

Great list and as a current beginner in the topic I would love to see more^^

maybe I'm just blind, but under which item do the costs for the basement hide with you?

Shell construction, electrical work, plasterer, screed, earthworks, and so on. The basement is simply part of the house. You pay for the trades, not the floors.

Thank you for the overview. We, too, as beginners on the subject, are glad to find realistic reference points. We are planning or these are our current considerations: a solid house with about 120 - 140 m2 of living space on two levels. We first need to get a feel for the costs. It’s an exciting time, wondering how it will be when we advance further.
