Small update. The old insulation material was properly disposed of. Quite a good amount accumulated.


With a lot of delay, a delivery finally arrived in a meh condition:



For that, holes had to be drilled.


In the meantime, the assembly has begun:


And in the basement, there were final preparations for the new heating system.

The craftsmen have already accomplished quite a lot. Tomorrow, the connection to the district heating network will be re-established.

The craftsmen are finished on the primary side. Now it’s time to work on the secondary part.


The play tower is also almost fully assembled.

Today, all the remaining radiators were removed. Two had to be sawed apart to detach them from the bracket.

The last few days were mainly about laying heating pipes in the basement:




And one floor up, bricking up the first window recesses.

It's progressing slowly. All window niches are bricked up, plastered, and newly wallpapered. The new radiators are already installed in the bathroom, kitchen, and study.
