The most important project would be to replace the downpipe to the guest WC in the basement. For now, only there in the basement and without having to open anything in the WC room.
A small update on the last few months. With a child in the house, everything moves a bit slower, but it is progressing.
First, the wastewater pipe in the "heating room" is targeted. As can be seen, the corner is already very damp and the cast iron pipe is severely corroded. After excavation, the following condition was revealed:

The wall thickness was only minimal and two holes immediately appeared. To work better, I further chiseled up the floor to the next socket.

The next day, the jackhammer made short work of the ceramic pipe and the cast part was also freed. Clearly visible how little of the wall thickness remained.
Afterwards, a construction site dehumidifier was allowed to reduce some of the moisture.

In the corner area, the foundation was not fully formed, but also damaged by moisture.
This was backfilled and a gravel bed was poured for laying the new KG pipe.

In the end, all pipes were installed and the floor closed again.

The connection upwards is still provisional because the guest WC still needs to be renovated.
