In the dilapidated conservatory, there were some water stains on the ceiling panels. After removal, larger water accumulations were found behind the foil. So everything, including the soaked insulation, was removed.

Now the flat roof needs to be sealed to last a few more years. If it is really watertight, insulation and cladding can also be reinstalled.

In the boiler room, loose paint was removed from the wall and re-grouted. The very roughly made existing wall openings were neatly built up and plastered. In the end, everything was repainted.

The floor still needs to be done up to the new district heating station.

Outside, there were drillings for a geotechnical site investigation.

Great house! I like this style of construction. I didn't even know about this report, I'll subscribe to it – it promises a lot of ideas in implementation :?

But watch out! The floor plan in the first post has nothing to do with this house. Unfortunately, that fell through, although it was much more interesting architecturally. Back then, out of frustration after the cancellation, we took a 17-day trip to the USA. Floor plans of the current house are in the other thread, where I am pondering the extension.

Right. The facade had changed in the meantime. Never mind, keep expanding - it looks exciting :)

I wouldn't call it that, rather "creative reacting to the surprises of an existing property" with its naturally narrower limits of planning. The ideas were already there beforehand, then came the implementation, which sometimes experiences forced variations.
