So they only switch off in case of overload, which should generally no longer happen. Unless in 10 years all residents around you and the corner are also driving BEVs.
Just checked the FAQs from Westnetz. They require a separate meter. And indeed: they have fixed charging periods!
Currently, we control the charging of electric vehicles according to these three time blocks:
3:45 PM – 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM the following day
4:00 PM – 4:45 PM and 7:45 PM – 7:45 AM the following day
4:15 PM – 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM the following day
One time block will be assigned to you by us. Outside these switching times, your charging device will be completely switched off. However, we are already working on making the charging times even more flexible.
