Ok, that means that even when choosing any provider, Westnetz is authorized to intervene in the "control".

Put differently: Would there be any disadvantages to fear if one takes advantage of this free offer and later uses "other" technologies/connections? Currently, I assume that their connection will simply remain unused in case one disagrees with the control and its tariffs.

Any other known catches? :)

Only in stock. Show 11kW and that's it.

Westnetz is not an electricity provider. It is the grid operator. And it can "dictate" its rules for grid usage and specify blackout periods. Those are probably expensive wall boxes that need to be controllable.

I'm not an expert. But that would make the most sense. The network operator has an interest in controlling the loads. If you later sign up with Yello or wherever, the "reseller" doesn't really care about load control. That is the network operator's responsibility. Right? I don't see any other disadvantages. That should actually be enough. The current times are not set in stone either. They can also change if suddenly everyone in your neighborhood wants to charge at 8 p.m. Probably similar regulations will soon apply to all controllable systems anyway. So also to the kfw-funded, controllable installations.

That sounds plausible so far. Thank you all!

Hello to all e-mobility users and to everyone who wants to become one!

I am still undecided whether the larger meter box with preparation for the additional meter should be installed or not. The additional cost is €1,200.

It says:
"The additional meter would only be necessary if the mobile electricity cannot be processed via the normal meter and you want to use a separate tariff."

How do I know if I might want to use the separate tariff in X years? :)

At least I have decided against it for the heat pump; I also do not need an additional meter for the photovoltaic system. Somehow, I don’t see why I should invest €1,200 more now (with further re-planning in the technical room) for something I might never need? :(

Opinions?
Thanks in advance!
