Promotion of e-mobility for new construction

Mennekes, keba, Webasto, ABL… Depending on budget, desired equipment… I have a Mennekes (22kw). But the others are certainly not worse for home use either. Keba is also very robust. The design is just old-fashioned. The question is whether you need a calibrated meter (e.g. billing for tax office, or release via RFID…) once you have answered these points for yourself, probably not many options remain anyway.

What do I need that for? The wallbox will be installed in the carport and permanently blocked by at least 1 vehicle. I have Keba at work, they are indeed old-fashioned, that's true. But it would suffice if necessary. The unit does not really have to be smart either, it wouldn't work anyway since there is no communication to the inverter. Kostal simply does not have a wallbox yet that can communicate with my inverter. That is supposed to come in 2021.

We have had two Heidelberg Energy Control including [Förderung] installed. Since all the cables were already in place, it was pretty cost-neutral. Power comes out, car charges. That’s all that’s needed at the moment. In new buildings, I would possibly use something with more connectivity.

Here I am again. My confused electrician accidentally called me today so that I could bring up the topic. He said I should buy the wallbox myself and he will then install it for me because a) it is cheaper online anyway than through the wholesaler and b) it could take until October to get the part for installation from the wholesaler. Therefore, the question is, can I order online and have the electrician install it? Isn't that detrimental to the subsidy? If yes, how can one avoid that but still buy it oneself?

Including installation and all that? What are you waiting for then? The wallbox can only do 11kW, you are aware of that? I have, for example, an Alfen, which can be upgraded to 22kW via software (officially for 30€).
