That’s the big catch. There are almost no charging boxes that currently support this, and if they do, they usually cost 1500 euros instead of 400 euros. Second big disadvantage: You are only allowed 11 kW and they can turn off the box at any time. Just like the heat pump. That means if everyone is charging at night, they pull the plug. That’s why I registered a 22 kW and created a grandfathering before they regulate even further... BUT then you get a mega box for the same price. So I would do it if I didn’t already have one.

That sounds interesting. Our municipal utilities require OCCP from 22kW anyway, and I don't think I would do 11kW anymore today.

Today there was information in the media regarding e-mobility funding by the federal government from around November. I remember 900€ for charging points. I think Scheuer wants to score points before he has to go to jail.
